The Chapter organized a lecture on “Limitations on Judicial Action in Governance and Public Policy” delivered by Mr. Prashant Narang, Associate Research Director of Centre for Civil Society. Some of the points of discussion were judicial governance and the Indian Supreme Court; constitutional limitations on the scope & nature of judicial action; and the Supreme Court’s selective activism: How the Court chooses to intervene in some cases & not in others, among others.
