The Centre for Civil Society hosted a Virtual Campus Talk in collaboration with the Students for Liberty Student Chapter at the Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta on “Liberalism and the Indian Judiciary” with Mr. Alok Prasanna Kumar, Co-Founder & Lead, Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy Karnataka,  on 23rd November 2020 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm IST.

About the talk:
The Virtual Campus Talk is part of the Indian Liberals Project (www.indianliberals.in) and is supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, South Asia. In this session we discussed the Indian Judiciary’s tryst with liberalism and the interplay of judicial decisions vis-a-vis Individual and personal liberty.
